Engineering & Manufacturability Analysis

The foundation of successful serial production lies in the proper design of the manufacturing process. For this reason, we evaluate projects not only in terms of the dimensions specified in the technical drawing, but also from a manufacturability perspective.

Part geometry, wall thicknesses, casting directions, surfaces to be machined, tolerances, connection points, and tooling requirements are analyzed at the beginning of the manufacturing process. Through a Design for Manufacturability (DFM) approach, we aim to reduce unnecessary operations, simplify manufacturing processes, and achieve more consistent results in serial production.

When required, we work together with our customers’ engineering teams and provide technical recommendations that can improve the manufacturing process without altering the function of the part.

Tooling Development

Proper tooling design plays a critical role in the success of aluminum casting projects. Tooling solutions tailored to each project are developed by considering the part geometry, production volume, casting method to be used, and technical requirements.

Evaluating the tooling development process together with the manufacturing parameters contributes to improving part quality, optimizing cycle times, and establishing a more stable process for long-term serial production.

Based on the results obtained from prototype and initial sample studies, the necessary technical evaluations are carried out, allowing the transition to serial production to be managed in a controlled manner.
