At Alutekworks, we view quality not merely as checking whether a manufactured part conforms to its technical drawing, but as a systematic approach covering the entire manufacturing process—from the initial project evaluation to final shipment. In OEM manufacturing, every customer and every project has different technical expectations. For this reason, our quality process begins with a clear understanding of the customer’s technical drawing, material requirements, tolerances, functional expectations, and other project specifications. Through technical evaluations carried out before production, we aim to ensure that critical requirements are correctly transferred into the manufacturing process and maintained throughout the project.
Process-Oriented Quality Management
Consistent product quality is built on stable manufacturing processes. From aluminum casting and CNC machining to surface preparation and final inspection, we place importance on keeping defined process parameters under control throughout the different stages of production.
Our objective is not merely to manufacture an acceptable part once, but to establish a sustainable manufacturing process capable of repeatedly meeting the same technical requirements throughout serial production. Particularly in long-term OEM projects, we consider process stability to be one of the fundamental requirements for consistent quality.
Dimensional Accuracy and Compliance with Technical Drawings
Technical drawings are among the primary references for our manufacturing and quality control processes. Critical dimensions, tolerances, machined surfaces, connection points, and functional features of components are evaluated in accordance with project requirements.
Following casting and CNC machining operations, dimensional inspections are carried out to verify that components meet the specified technical requirements. The scope and method of inspection are planned according to the geometry and function of the part, as well as customer expectations.
Material and Manufacturing Consistency
The performance of aluminum cast components depends not only on dimensional accuracy, but also on the consistency of the material and manufacturing process. For this reason, we place importance on managing material requirements and relevant process parameters throughout production in accordance with project specifications.
In serial production, our objective is to achieve the highest possible level of consistency between production batches, providing our customers with a predictable level of quality in their assembly and manufacturing processes.
Traceability
Particularly in long-term OEM projects, the traceability of production information is an important element of effective quality management. Maintaining relevant production records supports the investigation of the source of potential nonconformities, the evaluation of production history, and the more effective implementation of necessary corrective actions.
We regard traceability not merely as a documentation requirement, but as a quality tool that supports manufacturing reliability and continuous improvement.
Nonconformity Prevention and Root Cause Approach
Our priority in quality management is not only to detect defects, but to prevent them from occurring wherever possible. Regular evaluation of manufacturing processes and early identification of potential risks are therefore essential.
When a nonconformity occurs, simply separating or correcting the affected part is not sufficient. Our approach is based on understanding the root cause of the problem, implementing the necessary corrective actions, and improving the process to prevent recurrence of the same issue.
Quality Continuity from Prototype to Serial Production
In new projects, prototype and initial sample production represent important validation stages before serial production begins. Results from initial production runs are evaluated in terms of casting, CNC machining, dimensional conformity, and functional expectations, and the necessary process improvements are identified.
The objective is to identify potential technical risks before entering serial production and to establish a robust process that enables subsequent production to be carried out in a more controlled, repeatable, and sustainable manner.
